Custom design stitched on a Crewneck or hoodie. *Design must be submitted before class for review. Need Size & Color.

Beginner Embroidery Class (2 Hours)

Goal:

Introduce students to machine embroidery basics and complete a monogrammed tote bag.

Curriculum Outline:

  1. Welcome & Safety Briefing (10 min)
  2. Machine Overview (15 min)
    • Parts of the machine
    • Threading demo
  3. Design Selection (20 min)
    • Choose a monogram or simple graphic
    • Load design into the machine
  4. Hooping & Stabilizer Basics (20 min)
    • How to hoop a tote bag
    • Choosing the right stabilizer
  5. Stitching the Design (30 min)
    • Run the machine
    • Monitor and troubleshoot
  6. Finishing Touches (15 min)
    • Trim threads
    • Clean up and pack the project

Take-Home Project:

  • One custom monogrammed Tote Bag
  • One custom monogrammed Apron
  • One custom monogrammed Towel

Note:  Activity of Release and Liability must be signed to participate in Workshops.
